Artmore Video

Sitting proudly on West Peachtree in the middle of Atlanta’s Cultural Arts District is the Artmore Hotel. Formerly the Granada Suites Hotel, the Artmore is the reinvention of an historic architectural landmark building in the heart of Midtown. An independent boutique hotel, the Artmore prides itself on delivering a personalized guest experience, not previously seen in Atlanta. The scope of the renovation began with a restoration of the buildings facade, a 1924 building whose design is based on Spanish Mediterranean aesthetics.

The guestrooms and suites were completely refurbished in warm tones of brown, shades of red, cream, woods, metals and leather with playful touches highlighting the hotels proximity to the Arts District. All of the comforts are included, such as luxurious custom bedding, iPod docking stations, refrigerators, workstations with enhanced lighting features, curved shower rods and rain showerheads, upgraded bath and vanity products and new to the property, minibars and snacks. The rooms are generous in size and vary from King, Two Queen, Two Double, and Queen rooms and suites as well as spacious loft style split level suites perfect for longer stays. In addition, the meeting space has been refreshed and outfitted with 46 inch flat panel screen televisions perfect for a presentation for 2 or 80. Surprisingly, this is all being offered at rates that are keyed into today’s economy while providing a solid value for both the business and leisure traveler. Finally there is an affordable, upscale getaway perfectly situated to take advantage of the surrounding arts venues and multitude of shopping and dining spots the area has to offer.

The lobby is the most amazing change to the 85 year old property and has transformed itself into a stylishly designed public area, bar and lounge. The main space is the new sweeping bar, The Studio Bar and Cocktail Lounge that plays with the senses through sight, sound and touch. The new reception area features a large sculptural wall bathed with soothing colors that evolve every moment providing the backdrop for the new inviting desk. After checking in the guests can see the large winding bar and inviting lobby seating area that starts the guests’ decompression no matter what time of day. Relaxing with a coffee is also a popular pastime and the lobby lounge begs to be enjoyed day and night. The courtyard that was completely transformed, creates an urban sanctuary in the center of the hotel, which is an extension of the contemporary lobby design.

Nowhere in the corridor of West Peachtree is there a place like the Artmore, where one can find a sincere kinship to the Arts and its community. Not just thematically, but as an ongoing commitment to supporting the arts. The Artmore will be a gathering place to host events and special occasions. The hotel effortlessly provides warm, inviting and sincere service appealing to the business or leisure traveler and locals alike. The hotels staff goes through great lengths to provide a lost art…living the philosophy to take great care of the guest. Melding historic architecture with modern conveniences inviting the guest to create their own memorable stay, the Artmore is a hotel that Atlanta has been waiting for. The Artmore is redefining the art of southern hospitality, one guest at a time.
