Attention music enthusiasts! There are only nine days to go until the biggest marching band event in the nation! Yes, the Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase is back in Atlanta next Saturday, January 26 at the Georgia Dome. This year, 8 marching bands from Albany State, Alcorn State, Bethune-Cookman, Edward Waters College, Jackson State, North Carolina A&T, Tennessee State, and Winston-Salem State will be showcasing their unique talent and style for all to see.
Usually these performers are the halftime show, but there is a special treat in store for the Battle of the Bands’ halftime. R&B superstar, Brandy will be performing live during the event fresh after the release of her new album, Two Eleven, featuring the hit single, Put It Down. This showcase will indeed be the event of the year.

Arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, creator of two namesake boutiques in Atlanta and Manhattan and the founder of Jeffrey Fashion Cares, will join Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams in producing the 20th anniversary of Jeffrey Fashion Cares Atlanta. The official kick-off to the fall social season, this year’s event will be held at the American Cancer Society Center, located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
